Headed for Italy Soon

Ever since Coen chose New Zealand to focus on for his 6th grade Island Project, Finn knew he would have the opportunity to pick a family trip. He was just starting 2nd grade when Coen made his choice, and Finn reported to us that he wanted to spend his three weeks in Vatican City, which he thought would be amazing because it's the smallest city-state in the world. Ha ha, we said. We're not even Catholic! We disagree with the pope on so many things it's not even funny! In the intervening years, Finn toyed with the idea of Madagascar, Iceland, Antarctica, and England. In the end, he chose...you guessed it..Italy. So, we're going to Vatican City after all! And there's even a cool new pope. Who could have guessed?
